Dandora Youth FC faces Thunderbirds FC at the Laikipia Airbase on Sunday 14th August. The clash with the military side will be our first away match of the second leg of the season. Coach Ezekiel Akwana’s boys will be heading into the match brimming with confidence after collecting maximums points in their last outing.
“We’re in good shape. I think we’re in good mental and physical shape, so we’re looking forward to coming back home with the three points,” said Akwana.

HOW CAN I FOLLOW THE MATCH?
The match kicks off at 15:00 on Saturday at the Laikipia Airbase. Unfortunately, the match will be played behind closed doors. No fans are allowed at the military base. We will issue provide post-match updates on our social media pages and website.
TEAM NEWS
Goalkeepers Emmanuel Adjei and George Githaiga are available for selection after returning to training early this week.
Captain Brian Chege will not be available. Chege will be out attending to personal matters while Kasam Njaga is still out on bereavement leave.
Defender Job Kenga will be out having not trained with the team during the week hence a similar defensive set-up to the one we saw last week against Wajiji FC would not be surprising.
Khalid Diko, Melvin ‘Melo’ Okello and Emanuel Baraka are still out nursing long-term injuries. Everyone else is available for selection.
