All you need to know about Dandora Youth FC vs Wajiji FC

Dandora Youth FC bounces straight back into league action this Saturday as 9th placed Wajiji FC head to the Tom Mboya Primary School for a tricky encounter. Here’s everything you need to know…

Wajiji FC is next on the agenda as Dandora Youth embark on the second leg of the Div 2 Eastern Zone League. Head Coach Ezekiel Akwana is expected to call on his squad in what promises to be a decisive, second half of the season. Saturday’s visitors proved to be a difficult side to break down when we last played them with the match ending in a disappointing goalless draw.

The match kicks off at 15:00 on Saturday at the Tom Mboya Primary School grounds. You can also follow the action via our Facebook Page where our media team will be sharing live match updates.

Dandora Youth look set to be without Khalid Diko, Melvin ‘Melo’ Okello and Emanuel Baraka who are nursing injuries. Others who are likely to be out of the squad include goalkeeper Victor Akumu has missed out on training due to personal commitments.

Edwin ‘Dwin’ Onyango is set to make a return to the squad after missing our last match. Goalkeeper Felix Okumu is could also make a return after several weeks on the sideline.

This will also be Coach Akwana’s first match on the touchline since joining the club a fortnight ago.

Dandora Youth is currently ranked 4th with 20 points from 13 matches. Our recent home record has been a little patchy, with a win, loss and a draw in our last three encounters. Hopefully, we have a bright start. Wajiji FC currently sits in the 9th spot with 16 points from 13 matches. The Embakasi East based side have won 4, drew 4 and lost 5 of their games this year.

We are unbeaten against Wajiji an incredible run stretching back to 4 games. The last encounter between the two clubs played at the Nyayo Estate grounds ended in a 0-0 scoreline.
