Dandora Youth Football Club was formed in August 2003, with an objective of curbing increasing criminal activities and vices among the youth in the area. This is being done by involving the youth in recreational and development activities i.e community clean-ups, straight talks among others.

With the increasing number of young people facing lives of poverty, exploitation and despair there is need to invest or support them, if we are to achieve the millennium development Goals (MDGs) and as we face the fact that lack of white collar jobs has led to the increase in vices committed by the youth in the society, this calls for the need to partner with their future.

The club with the theme “One Dream One Team One Family” has also established a soccer academy project that nurture talents from tender age of 12 years. This is a long term project of its kind in the community and its surrounding and that if well developed would bring out professionals in the country.

It is therefore in this regard that we request for partnership of the project, which will go along way in helping create job opportunities for the youth and discovering other talents apart from soccer.

Our main objective is to mobilize the youth to participate in recreational and development activities so as to help uproot social ills in the society. Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire.

Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. It has the power to unite people in a way that, little else does. Sport can awaken hope where there was previously only despair.
